How About Crab Rangoon?

by Dani Vargas, Produce Manager, from the March 2002 newsletter

Last time, it was brussel sprouts. This month, it is Crab Rangoon. Here's Dani's favorite thing to eat.

How to make Crab Rangoon:

1 can of canned crab meat from the Co-op
4 oz of cream cheese
2 scallions finely chopped

Mix all these ingredients together until creamy. Place a small drop onto a won ton wrapper. I like to use the egg roll wrappers from the Co-op and cut them into 1/4.

Wet the edges a little and fold corners together so none of the stuff in the middle can escape.

Place into vegetable oil that is really hot and ready to deep fry.

Take out when it is golden brown and dip into sweet and sour sauce and enjoy.

Remember that if you make crab rangoon, you have to invite me!
