It's full of yummy green veggies, as well as chunks of mango and she gives it an extra boost with the Vega Tropical Tango smoothie powder. Vega was developed by a professional Ironman athlete, intent on creating a plant-based line of pre and post-workout meals on-the-go. To make Melinda's Green Smoothie you will need:
2 tablespoons hemp or chia seeds
juice from 1 lime
1/2 cup parsley
1 handful kale
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 handful frozen mangoes
1 dried date, pitted
1 1/2 cups water
1 scoop Vega Tropical Tango smoothie powder
Place all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
