The next time you come in to the store and try a delicious sample, you might notice that there are no more plastic cups or spoons offered. We are pleased to have finally found a biodegradable sample cup and tasting spoon from World Centric. |

It's been so much fun for the past several years, that we'll be doing it again this December 9. We'll be celebrating the holiday season and the locally-owned businesses in our community at our fourth annual Buy Local Winterfest. And this year we'll be giving a $300 door prize to the luckiest visitor. Could that be you? Everyone is invited to the festive event at the 1912 Center, 412 East Third in Moscow, on Thursday, December 9, from 5pm to 8pm. Admission to the party, food samples from local restaurants, product samples, and fun for all ages will be provided free of charge. Beer and wine will be available for purchase. |

Beginning in October, in my new job as product promotions and education coordinator, I will be launching many opportunities for Co-op customers to learn more about our products and their uses, and to sample them too.

This month, I would like to welcome Laura Paul as our new cashier. As I write, she is going through training and already proving, by her friendliness and readiness to learn the many complicated procedures involved in being a cashier at the Co-op, to be yet another outstanding member of an outstanding team. Welcome, Laura! |
