BECOME A MEMBER

If you would like to become a member of the Co-op ($10/year), fill out an application at one of the registers.

In exchange for your investment, the Co-op offers a variety of benefits such as:

• You get the members only sale price
• Our Business Partner Program allowing you to shop at other locally owned businesses and save even more $$
• An extra 10% discount on case orders
• Voting for your Board of directors (or you could even be one!)
• Membership Appreciation Days which help you save further on the items you love
• Frequent-shopper cards – for our fresh baked bread, coffee drinks, etc.

Other Secrets of the Co-op

• Checks may be cashed for up to $20 over the purchase [members only].
• We sell garbage tags and bus tickets.
• We’re happy to take some of your clean recyclables to re-use such as brown paper grocery sacks and  egg cartons.
• You get a 10¢ refund any time you shop with a cloth grocery bag.
• You also get a 10 cent refund if you bring in your own coffee mug.
• We have a self-service bread slicer that we’re happy to teach you to use.
• Some people choose to volunteer [members only
• to save extra $$ at the check out. Fill out a volunteer application next time your shopping and we’ll try to find a task that fits your schedule.
• We take Visa and MasterCard credit/debit cards as well as EBT/Quest cards. We also have groovy gift cards that make excellent gifts for either yourself or someone you care about.
• And remember—co-ops provide products and services that support personal and planetary health; a legacy we can be proud to leave our children and generations to come.
