Black Salt Caramel, Cherry Rooibos, Exploding Coconuts and Nutcracker are a few of the exciting new flavors set to premier at the Co-op this autumn. Since the weather is cooling off, shipments of our special chocolates are set to arrive. For our bacon lovers, this means the return of the Vosges chocolate bacon bars. As the Co-op heads into November, we will begin to stock delicious holiday flavors from Theo Chocolate of Seattle, Chocolove and Divine Chocolate.
Here are some exciting highlights of what is to come for our autumn and winter seasons.
As previously mentioned, Chicago-based Vosges Chocolate will be returning to our shelves and to the meat counter. The exotic blend of bacon and chocolate has become a treasured part of our chocolate department, and we will do our best to keep them in abundance. Vosges has released three new delicious blends that will join the bacon bars: Black Salt Caramel, Cherry Rooibos and Blood Orange Caramel. Other old favorites such as the Barcelona Bar, Naga Bar and Red Fire will also be available.
Fearless Chocolate has arrived on our shelves! These bars offer delightful chocolate flavors without gluten, dairy or soy and made with organic, raw chocolate! The flavors include Sweet and Hot with hibiscus ginger, Exploding Coconuts, Super Seeds, Matcha Green Tea and Peppermint and Dark as Midnight 75%. These bars are on our shelves and ready for you to enjoy.
Here at the Co-op, we have always enjoyed the scrumptious fair-trade chocolate from Theo’s original and 3400 Phinney chocolate bars. New flavors have joined some of those classics, and the holiday season will bring even more. Dark Cherry and Almond, Dark Orange, Dark Mint, 70% Dark Chocolate, Milk Chocolate and Spicy Chile in Dark Chocolate are the new flavors for your enjoyment. For the holidays, Theo is releasing four limited flavors: Milk and Cookies, Gingerbread, Peppermint Stick and Nutcracker. These bars are fair trade, organic and in beautiful packaging to treat your sweet with or anyone who is in need of a smile.
Poco Tiles of San Francisco and B.T. McElraths’ of Minneapolis will be back in the autumn as well. The Salty Dog and Prairie Dog bars and bites will grace our shelves once again. Chocolove will bring back their Fruit and Nut bar for the holidays, and Divine will release two special bars as well. For the holidays, Divine’s Advent Calendars will be back. Equal Exchange has two new year-round flavors to release soon, Ecuador Dark and Caramel Crunch with Sea Salt.
Hope your appetites are enticed and these treats will get you through the season. We can hardly wait!
