With thanks to special requests from Book Club members, it turns out that for May we’ll be reading the newly-released novel The Blackfish Prophecy, written by your somewhat sheepish Book Club Volunteer Coordinator, Rachel Clark.
I want to thank you all for your ongoing interest, support, and enthusiasm for my book! And I will add that there are definitely Good Food Book Club themes sprinkled throughout The Blackfish Prophecy that I am eager to discuss with you. Please read more about the book here at the Spokesman Review.
But if I could tell you anything about it, I’d say this book is my response to the state of the world and all we’ve learned in our wonderful Book Club. I’m thrilled to share it with you!
Meanwhile, please note we’ll be back in June with Bread, Wine, & Chocolate: The Slow Loss of Foods We Love by Simran Sethi. An article about that will come in the June newsletter here. For now, it’s a wonderful read with many glowing endorsements that I’m sure we’ll all be happy to enjoy.
