Candidate Statement:
Nichole Willard

I currently serve as Vice President of the Heart of the Arts Board for the 1912 Center. Previously, I served on the board of Rural Roots, where I supported the production and distribution of local food and provided educational outreach to the community. Professionally, I work as an Operations Manager, bringing strong leadership, organizational, and strategic planning skills. In addition, I have owned and operated a local grass-fed beef company and agritourism business. I value collaboration and believe that effective teamwork is essential to achieving shared goals.

I am interested in serving on the Moscow Food Co-op Board of Directors because I have been a long-time supporter and customer of the Co-op and deeply believe in its mission and impact. The Co-op plays a vital role in strengthening our community, supporting local producers, and promoting access to high-quality food. I have previously been a local producer for the Co-op and remain passionate about local food systems and community education surrounding food, agriculture, and sustainability.
