Candidate Statement:
Stephen Barbuto

I’ve been pleased to serve on the MFC Board for 2 years. I’m currently serving as Board President and have been on both the Policy & Bylaw and the Communication and Elections Committee during my tenure. During my time I’ve been engaged in numerous Co-op events (wine and cheese, artwalk, our booth at the Moscow Farmers Market, and Co-op cleanup day to name a few) including the national CCMA meeting in Duluth, Minnesota, where with other board members presented about our Co-op and its important role in our community.

My other Board experience includes being on the American Physical Therapy Association of Washington Board of Directors for six years serving at its Director of Policy & Procedure. I hope to con-tinue to work on the board and serve our members as someone that supports local, organic, fair-priced and socially responsible food and products.

Our Co-op is a special place that provides a safe space for everyone and look forward to helping forward our mission statement for another 5 decades.
