Current Gallery Show:

Artist - Ashley Kelly
May 1 - 31

Artist Ashley Ke ly has explored a colorful spectrum of creative hobbies—from crochet and stained glass to leatherwork and jewelry making. But it’s painting that continues to capture her imagination and hold her heart. Balancing playful chaos with careful detail, her work reflects both freedom and focus.

Art runs in the family. Influenced by her mother’s creativity, she now passes that spark to her own children—some of whom have literally left their mark on the canvas. One standout piece, Fox & Quail, features bright splashes of red added by her young son, Lochlann.

While she’s excited to share her work with the public, she believes being an artist is about more than finished pieces. It’s a way of seeing the world, of bringing creativity and care into the everyday. As she puts it: “Go through your day with open eyes. Touch with open hands. And live with an open heart.”

Visit the Good Food Gallery this month to see Ashly’s art or come to the ArtWalk April 15 from 4 - 6:30 p.m. at the Co-op.
