Friday, November 15 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the Co-op on Campus (822 Elm Street, on the campus of the University of Idaho)
About this class
Humans have brewed beer for centuries, and while the basics of the process are still mostly the same, the American craft beer boom of the late 90s and early 00s has introduced beer drinkers around the world to a wealth of new flavor experiences. How do those new styles compare to classic methods still widely used? At this class you’ll sample a variety of “New World” beers from the North American continent as well as “Old World” beers from European nations. Class will include samples of beer and food, along with a brief overview of how beer is brewed and how brewers achieve unique styles and tastes.
