Wine Series: The Controversy of Terroir

  • Latah County Fairgrounds (The Classroom) 1021 Harold Ave Moscow, Idaho 83843 United States (map)

“Terroir” is a French term that simply means “a sense of place.” For many wine lovers, terroir isn’t at all so simple.

Join us in our first wine class of the year focused on the controversial topic of terroir. Together we’ll taste pairs of wines developed from the same strain of grapes but in different regions, and we’ll discuss how each differs in taste and notes. This class will discuss how select wines are made and how weather, soil, and more can have an effect on each sip.
