The days of New Year's resolutions have come and gone, but if there's a nagging voice in your head that's telling you to get back on track, listen up! Whether your resolution was to cook more, eat breakfast or consume a healthier diet this smoothie recipe should have you covered. This recipe was developed by Johnelle, one of our Head Baristas, and is absolutely delicious!
This smoothie is chock full of antioxidants, fiber, calcium from spinach and anti-inflammatory goodies like cinnamon and nutmeg. This is a thicker smoothie, as it does not call for extra liquid, but if it's too thick for your liking, you can always add in pure fruit or veggie juice or almond milk.
To make this smoothie you will need:
1/2 cup blackberries
3/4 cup apples, peeled and coarsely chopped
1 small pear, peeled and coarsely chopped
2 handfuls of organic spinach
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon powder
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
