A 20% discount at checkout every time you shop. FLOWER is one of the ways we work to reduce the impact of food insecurity on the Palouse, so meeting your family’s nutritional needs is a little easier.

Eligibility

Two things are required:

Co-op Ownership

Be a Moscow Food Co-op owner with your equity payments up to date. If the cost of ownership is a barrier, our Community Equity Fund can help.

Your enrolled in one of these programs

  • EBT/SNAP Benefits
  • WIC
  • Medicaid
  • Pell Grant
  • Free School Lunch Program
  • Section 8 Housing

What you agree to

To participate in the FLOWER program, you agree to the following:

  • Your discount is yours alone. It may not be shared with other Co-op owners or community members. Co-op staff may ask for your photo ID until we get to know you. Misuse of the discount may result in losing it.

  • Your equity payments stay current. Moscow Food Co-op owner equity payments must be up to date to receive owner benefits, including the FLOWER discount. Community Equity Funds are available to support equity payments by application.

  • You reapply every year. The 20% FLOWER discount is valid for one year and needs to be reapplied for annually.

  • Some items are excluded. The FLOWER discount cannot be applied to items currently on sale, nor to products in our Alcohol department.

  • Discounts aren’t retroactive. If your Moscow Food Co-op equity payments lapse or your FLOWER discount expires, we can’t go back and apply the discount to past purchases.
