Wine Class: Rosé Wines Around the World

It’s summer! It’s the season for rosé wines! At this class, we’ll teach you how rosé is made and “visit” the major rosé-producing countries in the world. Of course, the best way to learn about wines is to try them yourself! You’ll taste delicious rosé wines from around the world and learn how to perfectly pair them with food.

If your experience of rosé has been limited to White Zinfandel, this class is for you!

National Cheese Day at the Co-op

Join us for National Cheese Day at the Co-op! We're celebrating all things delicious with a 4-part cheese sampling session, and a wine sampling session in the evening.

FROM 10 A.M. - 2 P.M.:
Come to the downtown Co-op to try 4 cheese samples from across the USA! Tillamook white Cheddar, Cypress Grove Humboldt Fog, Belgioso Smoked Mozzarella, and the locally-made Brush Creek Orchard Blue.

FROM 4 - 6:30 P.M.:
Stop by (or visit us again later in the day!) for wine samples from the LC Valley's Rivaura Winery and Idaho Wine Merchant

In this class we will discuss the characteristics of wines produced in "old world" countries (Europe) compared to wines produced in "new world" countries (outside of Europe). We will also explore how terroir and climate change influence a wine's taste and viticultural practices.

Led by our wine expert Peg, this class will take you on a journey through time-tested wine making processes and renowned wine regions.
